Begin a Journey of Art and Storytelling
Oshkagoojin, Meaning 'new moon' in Anishinaabemowin, embodies freshness and beginnings. The prefix 'oshki-' often denotes youth, as seen in terms such as 'oshki-aya'aawi' (adolescent.)
Additionally, 'oshka-' appears in words like 'oshkaabewis' (ceremonial helper), reflecting the themes of renewals, guidance, and cultural roots that define Oshkagoojin.
